We built Drop Kick Ventures to allow key players to come together to generate, incubate, finance and market promising ideas.

  • Our Capital Partners include world-class private equity, venture capital and angel investment groups. They provide funding, business guidance and infrastructure to ensure all Drop Kick Ventures Companies have the necessary tools to be successful.

    Not every agency has the time, funding or inclination to build businesses around ideas, no matter how innovative they are. These ideas often don’t align with core objectives, so they are shelved, spun off into separate divisions or developed into businesses that fail due to lack of support.

    How can agencies deliver promising ideas to the marketplace without compromising their organizational focus?

    The key difference in the Drop Kick Platform approach lies in targeting creative, marketing and communication agencies. These agencies interact with various industries and consumer audiences, and consistently generate ideas with significant market potential.

  • HERE'S HOW WE DO IT.

    Drop Kick Ventures works with select Agency Partners to bring their best ideas to life. We build a team to develop their idea, which becomes its own LLC. Profits are initially shared 49% (profits interests only) by the Agency Partner and 51% by Drop Kick Ventures. The Drop Kick Platform leaves Agency Partners free to focus on their core objectives while creating an additional revenue stream for their company.

Drop Kick Ventures is designed to yield a collective entrepreneurial impact in the marketplace. Founded by Mark Hasebroock, a successful start-up veteran; Pat Lazure, a serial entrepreneur; and Joe Olsen, a recognized creative and marketing communications expert and seasoned entrepreneur, Drop Kick Ventures combines the best elements of its founders’ passions, past pursuits and visions for the future.

  • MARK HASEBROOCK

    Mark Hasebroock, Co-Founder of Drop Kick Ventures, is Founder of Dundee Venture Capital, which invests in startup web service and e-commerce businesses. He is also a Co-Founder of Hayneedle.com and GiftCertificates.com. Hasebroock previously served as Managing Director at McCarthy Capital, a regional investment bank.

  • PAT LAZURE

    Drop Kick Ventures Co-Founder and Managing Partner Pat Lazure is a serial entrepreneur bringing leadership experience in a variety of sectors, including digital media, e-commerce, finance and advertising. Lazure holds a finance degree and an MBA from Creighton University.

  • JOE OLSEN

    Drop Kick Ventures Co-Founder Joe Olsen is President and CEO of Phenomblue, a brand experience agency with offices in Omaha and Los Angeles. Phenomblue’s work has been featured in USA Today, Ad Age and Fast Company and received recognition from the Webby Awards, the CLIO Awards, SXSW Interactive Awards and the Favourite Website Awards. Olsen currently serves on the board of the Society of Digital Agencies.
